Yahoo is going to test Google AdSense
Posted by noormuhammad on April 9th, 2008After many years of battle for online advertising, yahoo is going to test Google AdSense. On this announcement Microsoft blasted that partnership of Yahoo and Google would cover the 90 percent of online search advertising market.

Yahoo would use the Google AdSense for limited test. The test is expected to last up to two weeks and only 3 percent of Yahoo search queries in U.S will server Google AdSense. This will not include Yahoo’s network of affiliate or premium publisher partners.
This news firstly appeared in Wall Street Journal. “The testing does not necessarily mean that Yahoo will join the AdSense for Search program or that any further commercial relationship with Google will result”, said Yahoo. Yahoo spokes man was unavailable to comment and Google spokes man denied to comment.
The possibility of Yahoo working with Google shows a new twist into its efforts to evade Microsoft or extract a higher offer. Yahoo insists it’s worth more than the initial bid of $44.6 billion, or $31 per share, that Microsoft earlier. If Yahoo and Microsoft would have combined together then Microsoft would get 31 percent share of U.S market.
Google denied that its just a limited test and does not mean that Yahoo would join Google.
