Google adsense & adwords website is down

Whops … Google adsense website is down .. did it got hacked or did something horrible happened .. so far there is no scheduled maintenance the website just went down and is now displaying a message in almost all languages stating

The Google AdSense website is temporarily unavailable. Please try back later.
We apologize for any inconvenience.”

Its not only adsense but the adwords website is down but for that they have stated its a scheduled downtime with a statement saying :

The AdWords account interface is temporarily unavailable due to system maintenance. AdWords is expected to be down from approximately 10:00 AM until 3:30 PM PDT on June 21, 2008. Please note that your campaigns will be running normally during this short period of downtime, which only affects your account management pages. We apologise for any inconvenience.”

So this means they were fixing some stuff at adwords but as adwords is linked with adsense so something terrible must have happened and the global sites are now down. (more…)

Yahoo! Inc. (Nasdaq:YHOO) today announced the global availability of two new e-mail domains that will give users the chance to register for the e-mail address or Yahoo! ID they have always wanted. People can finally say goodbye to CutiePie4Ever80 or mattclark1977@yahoo.com and get a new Yahoo! e-mail address at ymail.com and rocketmail.com.

Thought the step seems quite exciting as getting a new account on yahoo mail is like having an ugly nightmare of selecting an address with digits and insane words. And its a fact we all want pretty smart email address.

PDF support with Google docs

Google has launched a limited PDF files support for Google docs, the term limited means the only thing you can do with the pdf is upload it to your Google docs and share it among people more like a file sharing element in pdf. The limited support also means that you cannot copy / edit text or even create a pdf file neither you can zoom in and usually the screen size of pdf is nearly impossible to read.
