Microsoft will stop selling XP But users are fighting to save XP
Posted by noormuhammad on April 15th, 2008 Comment »On June 30th, Microsoft will stop selling Windows XP. Microsoft is not showing any relaxation regarding the deadline. Microsoft may provide support for XP. 
According to the estimation made by Al Gillen, an analyst, that at the end of 2008 nearly 60 percent of consumer PCs and almost 70 percent of business PCs worldwide will still run XP. Microsoft will provide warranty claims and free help till April 2009 and limited service until April 2014.

Google has joined the Salesforce.com to sell its apps
Posted by noormuhammad on April 13th, 2008 Comment »Salesforce.com Inc.’s online software service is becoming a showcase for Google Inc.’s e-mail and other widely used applications, deepening a relationship that has spurred speculation Google eventually will buy its smaller partner.
Starting today, workers will be able to move information between Salesforce.com’s customer-management software and Google’s email, spreadsheets, calendar and other applications just by clicking a button. Previously, it was up to individuals to do this manually. Later this year, Salesforce.com will start selling and providing technical support for Google’s products.

Yahoo is going to test Google AdSense
Posted by noormuhammad on April 9th, 2008 Comment »After many years of battle for online advertising, yahoo is going to test Google AdSense. On this announcement Microsoft blasted that partnership of Yahoo and Google would cover the 90 percent of online search advertising market.

Yahoo would use the Google AdSense for limited test. The test is expected to last up to two weeks and only 3 percent of Yahoo search queries in U.S will server Google AdSense. This will not include Yahoo’s network of affiliate or premium publisher partners. (more…)

Couple sues “Google Street View” for capturing swimming pool and house pics

Couple claim that 360-degree pictures of their villa and swimming pool devalued their property and caused them mental torture, claiming that Google took the pictures from the drive way which is labeled “Private Road”.
